"Art is how we do it"

About Us
Ankla Center is a social organization based in Vereda Granizal (Bello, Antioquia), the second-largest settlement of victims of the armed conflict in Colombia. We are dedicated to rebuilding the social fabric and improving the quality of life for children and their families, transforming a high-vulnerability context into a landscape of opportunity and hope.
Our Approach
To achieve real transformation, we implement a methodology focused on emotional release through art therapy, education, and technology. We work hand-in-hand with the local community through food security programs, psychosocial support, and empowerment schools for mothers, ensuring that well-being is holistic and reaches the entire family unit.
Strategic Impact
Ankla Center proposes a replicable model of social intervention where art is not just expression, but a tool for healing and justice. By strengthening autonomy and emotional resilience from childhood, we protect the fundamental rights of children, enabling them to recognize their emotions so they can paint their own stories and rebuild the fabric of their community.
